МINTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

- Creative interface with US DOE National Laboratories, relevant IAEA divisions, the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority and organisations in the Russian Federation (Obninsk Methodological and Training Center for Nuclear Material Control and Accounting, Moscow Institute of Physics Engineering) fostered the role of GKTC as the Ukrainian Center for circulation of latest knowledge and best international practices in nuclear material physical protection, control and accounting.

Activity under IAEA Programmes
In the recent years IAEA had been using the GKTC potential to organise and deliver a series of training courses, workshops and seminars for specialists in nuclear safety and nuclear material physical protection, control and accounting from Central European countries, the NIS, and the Baltic states

Interface with Swedish Radiation Safety Authority
KTC has developed successful relationships with the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority and has prepared and delivered a number of training courses for the SNRCU regional inspection staff with the Authority’s financial backing.
